Jim and Daina began this redevelopment project in 2006 for an international real estate development company.  The
site is located in the heart of Vinius.  It comprises a former hospital adjacent to St. Jacobs Church, with Lukiskiu Square
to the South and the Neris River to the North. The design called for making the 19th century buildings into luxury
apartments and proposing a new 14,000 sq. meter mixed-used building that would house retail, office and residential
space.  The project went through many modifications to meet both city and regional authorities, and ultimately a
competition for the new structure was sponsored by the Lithuanian Architectural Union, which James competed in.
Attached are models and drawings for the various proposals.
